Frequently asked questions
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What happens when I hit my request limit?
On the Business plan, additional requests are billed at $0.03 each. On other plans, requests are rejected until the next billing cycle. You can upgrade anytime.
Do you offer annual billing?
Annual billing at a discounted rate is coming soon. Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when it launches.
Which currencies do you support?
We support USD, GBP, and EUR. Your billing currency is selected during signup and used for all future invoices. You can preview prices in any currency using the switcher above.
What is Dashboard AI Help?
Starter, Pro, and Business subscribers get AI Help inside the PDFPipe dashboard: a streaming assistant (Anthropic Claude) grounded in our documentation. It answers product and API questions and includes code examples. Free tier does not include AI Help. Each user has a limit of 50 questions per calendar day (UTC).
What are attachment PDFs and how are they counted?
Attachment PDFs are links that trigger a file download instead of displaying the PDF in your browser. These require a headless browser to capture and are the hardest PDFs to process programmatically. Every request - inline or attachment - counts as one request against your monthly quota. The Free tier has an extra sub-cap of 10 attachment PDFs per month. Paid tiers have no extra cap on attachment PDFs, so you can use any or all of your monthly requests on them.
